About Stuart Green
Stuart Green (Stu) is the Director and Founder of Neveco, a proudly Indigenous-owned IT services company based on the North West Coast of Tasmania. His journey in IT began in 1995 through an Indigenous traineeship with a local provider, marking the start of a career now entering its fourth decade.
Over the years, Stu worked across several Tasmanian technology businesses, including leadership roles supporting ERP systems and managing service teams. Along the way, he met Jason Watts, who is now a fellow Director at Neveco. Jason stepped into Stu's former role at a local business machines company, well before their professional journeys came together at Neveco.
After a brief time working in the building and construction industry, Stu returned to his passion and founded Neveco in 2007. He built the company to deliver approachable, people-first IT services that help businesses grow and keep communities connected.
A proud Palawa man, Stu draws strength and purpose from his deep cultural and family connection to lutruwita/Tasmania. His leadership is grounded in integrity, resilience, and a strong sense of community.
Outside of work, Stu is an avid cyclist who regularly rides in support of local charities. He lives by the belief that while life brings challenges, it's how you face them that defines the journey.
About Jason Watts
Jason Watts is one of Neveco's directors and a long-time local of Tasmania's North West Coast, having called the region home since 1998. He began his IT career at 18 by assembling custom-built computers, turning a natural curiosity into a career spanning over 30 years.
Before joining Neveco in 2012, Jason held roles in technical support, consulting, and IT management. He also led technology operations for a major Tasmanian business with over 240 staff and 25 locations. This experience gives him a unique perspective on the challenges businesses face and how the right IT strategy can make all the difference.
At Neveco, Jason's focus is on making IT simpler, more secure, and more human. He's passionate about cybersecurity and technology, but always communicates in clear, jargon-free language you can trust. He brings a hands-on, solutions-first mindset to every project and never shies away from responsibility.
Outside work, Jason is a proud dad of five, a keen traveller, and a DIY enthusiast. Whether it's tackling a home renovation, serving coffee in his wife's vintage van on the weekend, or diving into a business strategy session, Jason brings energy, insight, and heart to everything he does.
